The War on College Men

The Party of Abortion, Not Women

S.E. Cupp: If you didn’t know any better, you might be under the impression that Planned Parenthood clinics are the only place a woman can go for any variety of health services, including abortions, mammograms, contraceptive services and screenings.

That’s because Planned Parenthood actively fosters this impression to bolster its own necessity, aided by Republicans determined to end federal funding of abortions who have unwittingly helped elevate the organization’s image out of scale with its actual importance.

In reality, however, the 700 Planned Parenthood clinics throughout the country — predominately in urban areas — are dwarfed by the nearly 9,000 community health centers or CHCs around the country, with one in almost every Congressional district. These centers, which do not perform abortions, service more than 23 million people, regardless of their socio-economic status. And they specifically target communities in need, many of them rural.

These health centers also offer more complete care. Though Planned Parenthood routinely insists women need it for mammograms, the clinics don’t actually perform any (they are legally not allowed to). The CHCs, however, do.

I'm Guessing Guns Will be Blamed

Rising bloodshed in L.A. feels like 'Dodge City,' LAPD chief says  (The comparison is incorrect. Dodge City was peaceful compared to LA.  No drive by shootings in Dodge City, and no children were killed in any gunfight.)

No Excuse For This

Obama Administration Grants Asylum to more than 1,500 tied to terrorism.

The Left Hits Those Who Hates Evil

Three American women who have been branded as “anti-Muslim” by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) spoke out against the threat of Islamism in the United States at the Family Research Council’s Values Voter Summit on Saturday. Contrary to the rhetoric SPLC and others, these women are not “Islamophobes.” ....All three women were attacked in the SLPC's "Women Against Islam" pamphlet  which has been described by many conservative outlets as a “hit list.”

Gosh, That "Unexpectedly" Thing

Trust in Media at Low Point

Four in 10 Americans say they have "a great deal" or "a fair amount" of trust and confidence in the mass media to report the news fully, accurately and fairly. This ties the historical lows on this measure set in 2014 and 2012. Prior to 2004, slight majorities of Americans said they trusted the mass media, such as newspapers, TV and radio.

Crime Report of the Day

Florida man arrested and charged with stealing 4 million pounds of citrus.  (He said he really, really, really liked orange juice.)

Don't Trust Russians Or Leftists to Write History

Poles furious after Russia blames them for starting WWII - Russian Ambassador Sergey Andreev on Friday described the Soviet's 1939 invasion of Poland as an act of self-defense, not aggression. The comment prompted Poland's Foreign Ministry to declare Saturday that the ambassador "undermines historical truth" and seems to be trying to justify Stalinist crimes.

(The Left has tried to justify or ignore all the Soviet crimes against humanity.)

An Inconvenient Truth

dd

Let’s stick with colleges: Go to any college campus in America and look up the Clery reports, available on line. The overwhelming amount of violent crime and crimes against property on campuses is from black people. Some are students. Some not.

At the University of Minnesota, black and faculty student groups became so upset at this they wrote a letter to the president of the university demanding immediate action.

They did not ask for a reduction in crime. They demanded the president direct his police department to stop reporting the race of the criminals.

College students are easy targets of black crime. Check Cambridge, home of Harvard. Double ditto in New Haven, home of Yale. And the black on Asian violence in both of these places is particularly nasty.

How many stories of black on white violence in D.C. have to be told and retold to convince people with epic levels of delusional denial like the senator that something is very wrong in her town?
